Our guest houses of charm are situated at 5 minutes of the regional natural reserve of Brenne and in 20 minutes of Loches and la Roche-Posay. They are located in the main house of the Moulin, the building of the 18th century, in the valley of Aigronne in 765.53 yard of the village of Charnizay. At the crossroads of Poitou, of Berry and Touraine, we propose you a place of tranquility, authenticity and conviviality. The Moulin de la Croix is a place where to stay for a weekend, an escapade or during your holidays. From this magical place, you could visit the Castles of the Loire, discover and stroll in the Loire Valley.Activities for all tastes between history, prehistory, heritage, valleys, forests, gardens, rivers, regional natural reserve, wildlife parks and gastronomy. The sportsmen are not forgotten, possibility of practising biking, fishing, hunting, hiking, canoe and swimmings.

If you prefer to stroll or rest in the garden, a space of more than 2000 m2 awaits you. Between the calm of the pond, the murmur of the river, the rustle of the leaves, the 90 rose bushes and the seasonal flowers, you will put the armchair, the Chilean or the deckchair wherever you want. Children have access to the hut, the swing and various other games.

We will be at your disposal to advise you on sites to visit or put you in contact with local producers of goat cheese, Loire Valley wines, for example. We don't make table d'hôtes but we have selected "restaurateurs" who promote local products.
